The 28th edition of the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH) took place from 18 to 22 November 2024. Co-organised by LADAPT, Agefiph and FIPHFP*, this event brings together businesses, policymakers, associations, civil society organisations and job seekers with disabilities. It also aims to showcase initiatives implemented within companies to raise employees’ awareness of disability and inclusion.**
At Edvance, SEEPH is an important opportunity to engage with employees through a range of awareness-raising activities organised throughout the week, including webinars and adaptive sports workshops across our sites.
Edvance’s Commitment to Disability Inclusion
Edvance is committed to supporting the inclusion of people with disabilities, both through direct recruitment and through our partner organisations and service providers. We welcome individuals with both visible and non-visible disabilities and, as a responsible company, we are committed to ensuring their inclusion and successful integration into the workplace.
Should an employee encounter difficulties, whether related to human resources processes or digital technologies, we work to identify appropriate solutions. For example, Edvance can provide Braille-enabled computers and improve participation in remote events for employees with hearing impairments through real-time speech-to-text transcription services.
To support employees with disabilities and ensure the effective implementation of its commitments, Edvance has appointed two Disability Officers, including one member of the Executive Committee.
