We are proud to announce that, thanks to the commitment of our employees during a sports challenge on the United Heroes app throughout March, Edvance is sponsoring 391 trees with the EcoTree association!

EcoTree

EcoTree supports companies and individuals in addressing the climate emergency through tangible actions to preserve nature across France and Europe.

By contributing to the growth of sustainably managed forests and the protection of biodiversity, EcoTree focuses its efforts on three key objectives: protecting, raising awareness and creating value from natural ecosystems.

Our Sponsorship Initiative

This sponsorship will help restore part of the Cléden-Poher forest in Brittany, an area that had been degraded following clear-cut harvesting practices.

The restoration project involves planting a variety of tree species, including Douglas fir, sweet chestnut, beech, northern red oak, silver fir, western red cedar and Sitka spruce, helping to promote biodiversity and improve the resilience of the forest ecosystem.

Thanks to the success of our challenge, Edvance has become the owner of these trees, as confirmed by the certificate issued by EcoTree. We will be able to monitor their growth and track their GPS locations as they develop over time.

Three Edvance Employees Become Tree Owners

In addition to this sponsorship initiative, three Edvance employees were given the opportunity to become the owners of a tree gifted by Edvance in the Gioux 2 forest, located in the Creuse region of France.

Owning a tree means having a tree registered in your name, but above all, it means contributing to carbon neutrality. On average, these newly planted trees absorb between 10 and 40 kilograms of CO₂ per year, helping to combat climate change and support a more sustainable future.

At Edvance, we believe that every action counts when it comes to protecting our environment.
