8 March marks International Women's Day. Established in the early 20th century as part of a movement advocating for women's rights, it provides an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of the fight for gender equality and to pay tribute to those who have worked towards the social and political advancement of women.

Inspiring Career Journey

To mark this important occasion, Edvance had the honour of welcoming Catherine Cornand for the first Inspiring Career Journey event of 2025, organised by our Gender Balance Network, which also hosted a conference for employees on women's empowerment.

Catherine Cornand, Senior Executive Vice President of Framatome's Installed Base Business Unit, shared her professional journey, ambitions and valuable advice with our employees.

Her testimony provided inspiration and insight for all participants, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

As a reminder, Edvance's Gender Balance Network aims to inspire women, encourage them to progress in their careers and give them the confidence to pursue their ambitions.

Edvance's Everyday Commitment

At Edvance, we are committed to promoting engineering careers to young women throughout the year, particularly through outreach initiatives in secondary schools and colleges.

We are proud of the initiatives and ongoing commitment demonstrated by both Edvance and the Gender Balance Network in support of gender equality and the promotion of scientific and technical careers among young women.

Together, we continue to work towards a more diverse, inclusive and equitable future.
