Since September 2024, Edvance has been the only EDF Group subsidiary to be awarded the Responsible Digital Label. This recognition reflects Edvance’s broader commitment to a digital transformation that is low-carbon, energy-efficient, inclusive, ethical, and delivers significant environmental value for its employees and partners.

Through this initiative, Edvance promotes responsible and high-performing digital practices. We refer to this approach as digital efficiency rather than digital sobriety, a term often associated with reducing digital usage. By obtaining the Responsible Digital Label, a certification supported by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition and ADEME¹, Edvance has given concrete form to its efforts to address major environmental and societal challenges.

Responsible Digital in Action at Edvance

Beyond principles and commitments, Edvance demonstrates that responsible digital practices are a reality.

The company is certified to ISO 14001 for environmental management in its engineering activities and implements measures to reduce the carbon footprint of its information systems while improving digital accessibility.

For example, carbon footprint and accessibility considerations are key criteria in the development of business applications. In addition, all content produced is designed to be accessible, including the use of subtitles and alternative text.

Edvance Employees at the Heart of the Responsible Digital Approach

Through this certification, Edvance is committed to carrying out internal initiatives to raise awareness among employees of the impact of their digital practices.

This includes promoting simple eco-friendly digital habits and supporting EDF Group initiatives such as the Carbon Neutrality Passport, Digital Cleanup Day, and various Responsible Digital Challenges.
